HO & N FMC 5077 Offset Double Door Boxcars from Athearn

Athearn Trains has just released replicas of the FMC 5,077 cubic-foot boxcar for both HO and N scales.  The HO scale model features all-new tooling that includes separately applied end ladders, wire grab irons and etched metal crossover platforms. Models in both scales come equipped with 33-inch machined metal wheelsets and body-mounted knuckle couplers.

Previously available from Athearn just for N scale, Athearn Trains is offering an all-new version of its FMC 5,077 cubic-foot boxcar now for HO scale with offset double doors.  Tooled recently from the ground up for HO, and with new road names for both HO and N,  liveries for this production include Camino, Placerville & Lake Tahoe, Galveston Wharves, Texas, Oklahoma & Eastern, East St. Louis Junction and Union Railroad of Oregon. $44.99 MSRP each for HO, $29.99 MSRP each for N scale.
