Fast Tracks acquires Hunterline’s Structure Kits

With the recent passing of Hunterline’s founder, Rick Hunter, many customers were concerned that his extensive line of craftsman kits might no longer be available. Thankfully, Fast Tracks has acquired Hunterline – the wooden bridge and trestle kits model railroaders have been building for decades. Rick Hunter used Mt. Albert Scale Lumber (owned by Fast Tracks) in his kits, so integrating Rick’s line of structures into the Fast Tracks family was a natural fit.

The kits will not change.   The same detailed drawings, same parts, same instructions and same quality will continue. Each kit will be made available one by one on the Fast Tracks website beginning in September 2026.

It should be noted that Hunterline’s weathering stains are not part of the transition to Fast Tracks. The future plan for the weathering stains will be announced as soon as it is finalized.
