The acceptance and growth of prototypical operation of model railroad layouts has spurred the development of a number of dedicated products in the category that range from computer driven programs to various types of car cards designed to route freight in a realistic manner. Texas Rail is offering a suite of easy to assemble laser cut plywood car card boxes to keep an operator’s cards in order and the trains moving.

Each box is made up from ten or fewer laser cut 1/8” birch plywood pieces. Assembly is quickly accomplished using any of the wood glues currently available from craft, hobby or home improvement stores. The results are a neat uniform car card box that is ready for any type of wood finish the builder may wish to apply prior to installation on the layout’s fascia.

To further dress up the boxes, engraved self adhesive labels are also available from Texas Rail Models. These can be custom ordered directly through the Texas Rail Models' web site in several color and lettering specifications. The boxes are reasonably priced, assemble quickly and easily to provide a professional look to any model railroad while keeping the "paper work" in order.
